What we collect to make your magazine, how long we keep it, and exactly when your photos are deleted.

The short version. We only collect what we need to make your magazine. Your uploaded photos and song file are deleted from our storage 3 days after you approve the finished magazine. Your magazine stays at its private link for the 15 days included (longer if you ask), and is deleted when it is taken down. We never sell, share or reuse your photos or your story.

1. Who we are

TheHeartPage ("we", "us") is a brand operated by Scale Media LLC, 1621 Central Ave #63784, Cheyenne, WY 82001, United States. We make personalized digital page-flip magazines at theheartpage.com and its sub-domains, including sample.theheartpage.com. You can reach us any time at .

2. What we collect, and why

When you place an order we ask for:

  • Your name and the recipient's name and nickname, so the cover and the writing can be personal.
  • Your relationship, the occasion and a date, so we know what we are celebrating and when you need it.
  • Your story answers (how you met, what you love about them, the last words), which we turn into the magazine copy.
  • Your photos (10 to 20), which appear only inside your magazine.
  • A song: an uploaded audio file, a song name, or a link. It plays inside the magazine.
  • Your email and, optionally, your phone or WhatsApp number, so we can deliver the link, ask a question, and send the one round of changes.
  • Payment is handled by our payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.

Before you pay, your answers may also be saved in your own browser (local storage) so you can come back and finish later. That copy lives only on your device until you submit the order.

3. How we use it

Only to make, deliver, host and support your magazine, to take payment, and to send you the messages that belong to your order (delivery, changes, extension reminders). We do not use your content for advertising, we do not train any AI system on your photos or story, and we do not add you to a newsletter unless you ask to join one.

4. Photo and content deletion

Uploaded photos and audio files are deleted 3 days after you approve the magazine. "Approve" means you have seen the link we send you and either told us it is final or used your one round of changes and confirmed the result. If you do not reply, we treat the magazine as approved 7 days after delivery and delete the uploads at that point.

After that, the only copy of your photos is inside the finished magazine at its private link. That link stays live for the 15 days included with your order, or longer if you ask us to extend it. When the magazine is taken down, its files (including the photos and the song inside it) are removed from our hosting within 7 days, and from backups within 30 days.

If you start an order but do not complete payment, anything you uploaded is deleted automatically within 14 days.

Want it gone sooner? Email from the address you ordered with and we will delete the uploads and the magazine within 48 hours.

We keep a minimal order record (your name, email, what you bought, the amount and the date) for as long as tax and accounting law requires. That record never includes your photos or story.

5. Who can see your magazine

Only people who have the link. Magazine links are long and unguessable, are never listed on our site or in search engines, and are never shared by us. You decide who receives it. The samples shown on sample.theheartpage.com are made with AI-generated illustrative photos and fictional names, never with a customer's magazine.

6. Who we share data with

Only the services we need to run TheHeartPage: our hosting and file-storage provider, our payment provider, our email and WhatsApp messaging provider, and, if you ask us to find a song by name, a licensed music source. Each of them sees only what is needed for its job. We do not sell personal data to anyone.

7. The people in your photos

You are responsible for having permission from the people who appear in the photos you upload, and for the recipient being comfortable receiving them. If someone in a magazine asks us to remove their image, we will contact you and, if needed, take the magazine down.

8. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses local storage to save your order draft on your device, and may use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. We do not use advertising cookies.

9. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the data we hold about your order, correct it, or delete it. Write to ; we answer within 7 days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.

10. Age

You must be 18 or older to place an order. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, other than photos a customer chooses to include of their own family.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be emailed to customers with a live magazine.
